Here’s your 11th tip:  Child’s Play

Our habits form very early in life and it is important to help children learn effective ways for maintaining their bedrooms. If we make it an enjoyable priority they will learn to take care of their things and their rooms with a few easy tips:

-Encourage kids to put away games and toys before taking out new ones.

-Help kids take 5 minutes before bedtime to spruce up their rooms.

-Provide kids with toy boxes, colorful bins, and shelves for their books and toys.

-Give each child a memory box where they can keep treasured items.

-Set a good example by maintaining your own bedroom space.

Help children to see the rewards in maintaining an organized room and it will all seem like child’s play!
