I love my premium starter kit and every oil in it. So I started this series of blogs to show you how I use everything in my Premium Starter Kit every day.
After dinner, I like to end my day on a spiritual note. Or there may be times I have to make out some bills or spend time modifying and balancing our budget. Either way, I need to be able to concentrate. So what oils do I use? It depends on what I need to keep me emotionally and mentally focused.
Since I am usually seated after dinner, either at my desk or in a cozy chair, a digestive aid is sometimes necessary to help make me comfortable. Rubbing a couple of drops of this oil on my stomach or putting some in a cup of hot water may be all I need to keep my mind in the books and not on my full belly.
I love diffusing this oil on those days where I am feeling good but need a little boost, maybe even a little motivation. This incredible oil has an earthy, uplifting aroma that promotes feelings of being grounded and spiritual connectedness. It helps create a safe and comforting environment when diffused particularly when one is engaged in Bible reading, prayer, or meditation.
Frankincense provides an aroma that is perfect for motivating me to concentrate and creating a grounding experience when I do my personal study or any other task. I love it!
Let’s face it, one of the hardest things to do, especially when you’re trying to focus on spiritual things, is to keep all of our daily stresses at bay. I don’t want to be distracted by worries that aren’t going to add any value to my life. I want to focus on good, positive things that will give me a better outlook on the future. So this is when I use Stress Away.
I may diffuse it (instead of Frankincense) and put a couple of drops on my wrists, my temples, and the back of my neck. It may not take away my stress, but it settles me down and helps promote relaxation when I need it the most.
Peace and Calming
Sometimes I can get overwhelmed by anxieties or negative emotions. I hate feeling that way, but especially when I am trying to do something good for myself.
At times like these, I use Peace and Calming to help me calm my mind and heart in order to focus on the task at hand. Like Stress Away, I may diffuse it or use it topically or both. And I never forget—when I use an oil topically—to cup my hands around my nose and take a couple of very deep breaths. Feeling calmer already…
At times, I may use all of these oils in the same evening if I need them. I don’t diffuse them all at once, obviously, but using them topically one after the other may be exactly what I need. I just make sure I leave 5-10 minutes between applications so that I receive maximum benefits from each oil.
It is so good to spend some time—every day—to focus on spiritual things. When I do, I don’t forget to utilize my Premium Starter Kit. Using these oils to help me digest, feel grounded, deal with stress, and calm my negative emotions helps me get the most out of the best part of my day.
